Easy maintenance

The engine is equipped with an automatic belt tensioner and designed as one-sided arrangement of key components, which allows technicians quick and efficient service intervention.

High power density

Engineers have optimized the design of the 4-cylinder engine and added high power density, enabling greater performance in a small footprint.

Emission regulation

The Kubota V5009 engine complies with EU stage V and EPA/CARB Tier 4. In order to meet these stringent regulations, the engine has a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR).

DOC - Diesel Oxidation Catalyst
DPF - Diesel Particulate Filter
SCR - Selective Catalytic Reduction

The listed engine specifications are subject to change without notice, engine dimensions and weight are listed in accordance with Kubota's standard specification. The engine series can be produced in different options so the stated specifications may deviate. The photos shown may contain non-standard equipment.

Emissions

The common rail system enabled optimization of fuel combustion in the chamber and created a more durable and quieter engine with greater fuel efficiency. Engine is equipped with a catalytic converter (DOC) and a particulate filter (DPF) and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system that reduces up to 90% of nitric oxide (NOx). Complies with European regulations on the level of exhaust particles:Kubota Stage V logo
